CLAUDIA SHAW-d'AURIOL is of mixed Chinese and Austrian parentage, but is Hong Kong-born and bred. A graduate of Bryn Mawr College, she has worked extensively in the fashion and luxury goods industry; at present she is with Chanel.
Despite her long-standing association with fashion, Claudia’s real passion is her family. Her hectic workload may involve frequent travel, yet her family remains her first priority. She and her husband, Guy d’Auriol, have three children, Anna, Hugo and Thibault. The entire Shaw-d’Auriol family share a love of food, travel, sport and the sea. Weekends in Hong Kong find them on their boat, with Claudia cooking, of course, and with some swimming and a hike along the hills of an outlying island thrown in.
Hailed for her impeccable sense of style, Claudia’s refined and simple approach to fashion is also reflected in the way she cooks and entertains: fresh, uncluttered and elegant, with minimum fuss but maximum flavour. |
